The Victoria Viaduct, originally named the Victoria Bridge, is a historic stone arch rail viaduct spanning the River Wear connecting Fatfield and Penshaw. It was completed in 1838 and modelled after a Roman bridge in Spain, and as you can see, it stands about 120–135 feet high and stretches over 810 feet long.
