I had wander across to Cox Green near Penshaw and It’s way prettier than I remember!
Cox Green is a small, residential settlement located on the south bank of the River Wear in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear. It is well-known locally for the Alice Well, riverside walks, railway viaduct, and the Cox Green Footbridge connecting it to Washington Staithes.
