The Work, Rest and Play mural was carefully painted on the gable end of the Sherburn Community Centre and has become a star attraction for small County Durham village with a rich mining history.
The artwork has some of local favourites including St Mary’s, the Lambton Arms and even ‘Monty’ the colliery engine.
