I had a wander down to The Fire Station to check out the new mural of Geoff Docherty on the wall of fame…
From bouncing on the doors to promoting some of the biggest bands in the world, Geoff Docherty transformed the north east music scene with bands including T-Rex, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Who, Rod Stewart and Free to name just a few.
The mural was a joint venture with Kathryn Robertson and The Fire Station and can be seen on their ‘wall of fame’ outside the venue.
