Ray Lonsdale is a local sculptor/artist who is best known for his weathered corten steel artwork that pays homage to working-class life and industrial tradition…
The incredible works of Ray Lonsdale often reflect industrial heritage including miners, fisherman and even passionate campaigners in various prominent and less obvious locations.

Ray and his son continue to embed the integrity and skills of the past using ‘corten steel’ to create weathered artwork such as Eleven ‘O’ One – ‘Tommy’, Gan Canny, Launch Day, and more recently Dead and Gone.
The interactive map below shows each of his sculpture locations which are all well worth a visit.
If you would like any of his works framed in print you can easily contact me via my Facebook page here and I’ll gladly post the framed print and/or deliver free locally…
