Fulwell Windmill restoration and refurbishment is now firing on all cylinders with extensive repairs carried out to it’s cap and sails, these iconic parts of the Fulwell Windmill have been constructed and transported to the site this week. The installation of the cap is now complete with the sails due to be in the next few weeks.

The specialists including Beaumont Brown Architects and Owlsworth IJP specialists Millwrights have worked tirelessly in restoring the iconic windmill, which will include visitor centre and welcoming tearooms.

Millwright Manager Paul Sellwood for Owlsworth IJP gives us a brief insight into the restoration work that has been carried out.

Visitor Centre & Tearooms

Having undergone a major transformation, Fulwell Windmill Visitor Centre is now open to the public.

The centre includes a new café and community outreach programme.

Fulwell Mill Tearooms are now open to the public Wednesday – Saturday 10am-3pm, this may change as and when the mill becomes fully operational from around December 15th 2017.
